What is the Green team

First, last, most important of all - "Green team" is an idea! The idea that the actions of citizens can be different. Yes topics of interest may be different.

We are convinced that volunteer engagement can be a quality basis for healthy civic activism, and thus civic responsibility. We live in times where official policies often have different priorities compared to the priorities of citizens, so instead of "arms crossed", in accordance with our capabilities, we give our contribution to achieving positive change.

Working principle

Green team Novi Grad is registered as a non-governmental organization in accordance with the applicable laws that define the area.

We are primarily committed to environmental protection, youth, socially useful activism as well as accompanying processes that directly or indirectly contribute to the quality of life of citizens.

Since we have been operating primarily in the area of the Novi Grad region since 2015, at the beginning of 2022, in accordance with the growing needs after the reorganization, we are formally expanding our activities to the entire northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Građanski odgovor na nedostatak zdravog razuma

DEKLARACIJA O SPREČAVANJU ODLAGANJA RADIOAKTIVNIH I DRUGIH OPASNIH OTPADA U BLIZINI DRŽAVNIH GRANICA

Borba građana traje. Borba protiv namjere da se radioaktivni otpad iz nuklearne elektrane Krško, kao i drugi opasni otpadi sa teritorije čitave Hrvatske (porijeklom iz medicine, industrije, nauke, vojne upotrebe i slično) smještaju u kompleks kasarne Čerkezovac čiji se ulaz nalazi svega 850 metara od rijeke Une, to jest u samom graničnom području BIH i Hrvatske.

U svijetu ne postoji slučaj da se u graničnom području (u našem slučaju, to je 5 km unutar teritorije obje zemlje od linije razgraničenja BiH i Hrvatske), gradio nuklearni objekat protivno volji susjedne države. U svijetu ne postoji takav slučaj, a kod nas razvoj te ideje traje 24 godine, te sada ulazi u fazu raspleta. Ukoliko se desi presedan i uspostavi praksa da se nuklearni objekti mogu graditi u graničnim područjima, kao i da ovakva područja mogu biti mjesta deponovanja radioaktivnih i drugih opasnih otpada, to će značiti da bilo koja zemlja na svijetu (naročito ona ekonomski ili politički jača) ima neupitno pravo da svoj otpad “izgura” na granice sa drugim zemljama. Ovdje nije riječ samo o nama, svjedočimo nečemu što će na međunarodnom nivou uspostaviti novu praksu.

U skladu sa tim, u ime odbrane rijeke Une, regije i prava na život, pozivamo organizacije civilnog društva iz Bosne i Hercegovine da potpišu Deklaraciju.
